brittany jenkins: development director

Brittany is originally from Winston-Salem, NC. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she graduated with a BA in History. She then went on to pursue her Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a Master of Public Affairs from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
Prior to joining the Urban Promise Team, Brittany worked for Charlotte Rescue Mission as their Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations (leading their grants program and serving as the relationship manager to funding partners) and then as their Manager of Leadership Gifts (leading the philanthropy team and project managed a capital campaign to build a new men's facility). Additionally, Brittany worked with the YMCA of Greater Charlotte as the Association Director of Grant Writing and Management, overseeing the association's grants program. Brittany also serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Charlotte Chapter.
Brittany is excited to be a part of Urban Promise serving as one of the program's ambassadors to the community.
